and really i don't think you're realize your own name is innapropriate...that's just a ridiculously asinine comment.

Apart from the obviously offensive names usually chosen to be a little offensive there are bound to be many names which appear funny or offensive when viewed using a different language.

The more languages you add to the game the more likely it will be an in joke somewhere in the world.

Examine the name check it against the location of the members account and apply common sense.

The character Chuck Norris is intellectual property, and like I said, it depends on how far they take that. As said a million times the EULA states that it is at their discretion. I didn't say that it would be nor that it should be simply that it would be more likely a ban due to something along those lines other than simply having a few letters in common with f***.

Just so you know. The only people I would report for a name violation are those who use foul language or intentional misspellings of said words to get around the filter. Those that have other derogatory names to put down another person/race/religion/whatever.

I have only reported one person's name because it translated directly to "Eat my S***" only in swedish.

BTW: Google isn't an authority. Especially on the Hawaiian language. My name literally means "Origin of the Earth." Not "Adam" or "First man" that you most likely found...

I didn't say your name was inappropriate. :S I was responding to your comment that if you have what could be termed an inappropriate name as your real name you'd realize it was inappropriate... There's nothing at all inappropriate about your IGN so apologies for the confusion, but you should have realized that my comments would be in response to what you wrote.

However, the character Chuck Norris is NOT intellectual property, as he is a person... his characters however ARE. You can never claim intellectual property on who you are, even if you've created a persona. Chuck Norris is not intellectual property, but a character like Walker Texas Ranger is...
